Layers of experience
With her exhibition at the Kunstlinie arts center in Almere, Lenny Schröders demonstrated mastery of the spatial mise-en-scene with the same minimal elements as in previous projects: light, colour, glass and bronze.
Lenny had layered a composition in different color filters; and here came the most intense diversity of hues. Looking through the tinted glass at the landscape, you could see part of the real world outside being transformed into a painting of otherworldly beauty.
