Kairos – Unpredicted III

Lenny Schröder, master of color and light, applies shiny circles almost invisibly on a white wall. They appear and disappear in the sliding daylight. Between them she sprinkles ceramic and bronze discs, their forms burnt away and corroded like the surfaces of distant planets. The moving viewer may marvel at the unearthly colors that glow from it.

In the floor, the reflection of transparent color filters mounted on a window forms a new rhythm of sizes and shifts in color and light. Convex glass objects stand like guards on steel tables. They slide protectively over each other, drawing in ever-changing reflections. An eye-catching spatial staging, behind which lies a lifetime of experimentation and refinement.
